Safe Riding at Fieracavalli 2023

Safety, comfort and elegance in its DNA

Safe Riding will be present, as every year, at the international Fieracavalli exhibition (HALL 7, stand 5) to be held at the Verona Exhibition Centre from 9 to 12 November 2023. The stand will feature the entire range of stirrups, the reference standard for riders of all ages in terms of safety, comfort and elegance. This year, in addition to the safety stirrups, the fashion accessories launched this spring by the brand synonymous with lifestyle in the field of professional and amateur riding will also be on show.

Safe Riding is a brand exclusively owned by Tenuta Montemagno Horses and was born from the know-how in horse breeding and the passion for horse riding of its founders. An entirely Italian company, born with the mission of offering safe, comfortable and elegant riding to riders of all latitudes.

Fashion accessories

With a view to elegance and comfort, Safe Riding has added a series of fashion accessories to its technical product line this year. Foulards and twillys to wrap around your neck or head and clutch bags to use as fashion accessories for your bag and as key rings. The line is designed to personalise your outfit in riding or competition, but also in everyday life, with a unique style. Safe Riding accessories are made of fine silk 100% made in Italy and feature a design inspired by the stirrups, Safe Riding’s core business.

Safety is in the DNA

Ever since it was founded, Safe Riding has had Safety as a priority objective in the development of its products. There are no regulations, international or local, that precisely regulate the subject of safety for riding stirrups. It is equally well known how a fall from a horse can turn into a drama if the rider fails to free the boot from the stirrup. Safe Riding has resolutely addressed this problem by designing and manufacturing stirrups that are totally safe, certified and guaranteed by internationally registered patents.

All Safe Riding stirrups have one feature in common: the 90° tilting arc in all directions. Technical tests carried out during the design, development and certification phase have shown that all it takes is to apply a minimum tensile force to the middle of the toe box for the arch to open completely, thus freeing the boot. Safe Riding stirrups are the only stirrups on the market that are 100% safe.

Staffe Safe Riding

The progenitor of the Safe Riding family of stirrups, the S1 model has a structure made of magnesium alloy and aluminium, which gives it heaviness and stability. The footplate is shock-absorbing and pivoting, which means it absorbs shocks very well. In addition, a special gripping system with side slip washers helps the rider find the best position for the boot when riding. As already mentioned, safety is ensured by the side arch that tilts 90° in all directions to release the boot in the event of a fall. The S1 is available in two different colours, GunMetal Grey and Choco Brown, with a powder-coated finish.

A range of interchangeable covers, to be applied to the mobile arch, allow the rider’s personality to be expressed in the best possible way or, as in the case of the flag series, to represent the nation to which he or she belongs. Four aesthetic lines of covers: Contemporary, to play with colours; Premium, when you want to take care of the smallest detail; Luxury, to express a unique style; Flags, to represent yourself and your country.

Stirrup S1 Safety First

The first heir to the S1 model, the S2 stirrup inherited the folding bow from the previous model. The structure of the S2 is smaller than the S1; this is because it was designed to accommodate a predominantly female boot, even though this model is used extensively by riders in jumping and eventing competitions. The construction material is aluminium Ergal, which makes it lighter than the S1 and very durable. The S2 is produced in three colours with a chrome finish to ensure greater resistance to use: Silver Chrome, Satin Copper and Santorini Black. Since the arc is identical to that of the S1, you can access the full range of covers to add a touch of elegance and personality to the brackets.

Stirrup S-Light Safety First

Third in order of appearance, the S-Light stirrup, as its name wins you over, is characterised by being light and, therefore, intended for young riders and amazons. The S-Light is made of Anticorodal aluminium, a material that makes it extremely light (only 480 g in weight) and particularly resistant to corrosion. In contrast to the two previous stirrups, the S-Light mounts a footplate with fixed grating gripping, which makes it possible to maintain the lightness of the product without compromising comfort during exercise. Again, the arch can be tilted 90° in all directions. The bracket is available in six different anodised colours (Jet Black, Mocha Brown, Sunset Gold, Cloudy Silver, Slate Blue and Flamingo Pink), and the covers of the S1 and S2 are replaced by a wide range of interchangeable colour clips that can also be mounted on the flip-up arch.

Stirrup S-Mini Safety First

The latest addition to Safe Riding, the S-Mini bracket is similar to the S-Light. From this one it inherits all the features of the arch, footplate and construction material. The reduced space between footplate and arch make the stirrup ideal for younger riders (up to about 14 years of age), and lighter: only 450 g in weight. The S-Mini is available in four different anodised colours (Blue Lagoon, Green Forest, Red Berry and Picasso Lily) and is fitted with the same set of interchangeable clips as the S-Light.
